1. Mr. Shaffi Mather, Settlor, Chairman and Trustee

Shaffi Mather is a Lawyer, serial entrepreneur & public policy analyst.

Shaffi is a partner at LexFin Conzel, a leading law firm with practice in corporate laws, taxation laws, contract laws, insolvency laws, bankruptcy laws, economic offences laws, criminal laws, labor laws, arbitration, and intellectual property.

Shaffi leads MUrgency Inc. (Airport Assistance Services; Tech StartUp Incubators; ECommerce; Quaternary Care Referral Clinics).

Shaffi previously founded the pioneering Emergency Ambulance Service in India (Dial 1298 for Ambulance / Ziqitza Health Care Limited – www.zhl.in) which is the largest for-profit Ambulance Company in the Developing World and LifeSupporters Institute of Health Sciences which is now Asia's largest Pre-hospital Care Training Organization. He was the founding CEO and original lead Promoter of the company. The company presently runs over 3500+ Ambulances with 12000+ employees and serves over 2.0 million transports annually. Investors include Acumen Fund, American Medical Response Inc. (World's Largest Emergency Care Company) and India's leading three financial institutions - HDFC, IDFC & IVFA (True North) Principals.

Shaffi is alumnus of Harvard University, London School of Economics, University of Pittsburgh, University of Bridgeport, Indiana University - Bloomington, Cochin University of Science & Technology - School of Law, Mahatma Gandhi University (St. Pauls College & Sacred Heart College) and Toc H Public School.

Shaffi was one of the three Social Entrepreneurs from India invited by President Obama to the US President’s Summit on Social Entrepreneurship in Washington DC in 2009 and also member of the select group with whom President Obama had discussions during his India visit. Shaffi was also selected as a Future International Leader by British Government in 2012.

2. Ms. (ADVOCATE) BINDU CHETTUR, Trustee, 01 July 2021 to 30 June 2023

Ms. Bindu S. Chettur has been practicing law in the Asia Pacific and Middle East region for the past 27 years. Her areas of expertise include but are not limited to Civil Law, Criminal Law, Corporate Law, IP Law, Family Law, Bankruptcy Law, Execution of foreign judgments overseas, and Debt Recovery cases in association with Interpol and state officials. She has become an integral part of prestigious business and legal societies worldwide and her presence is well noticed in several communities.

She has attained multiple qualifications throughout her career; Bachelor of Science in Physics from Calicut University, India, Bachelor of Law from Bharathiar University, India, Master of Law (Labor & Industrial Relations) from Annamalai University, India and Master of Business Administration from California, USA. She is also registered at the Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC) and serves as a draftsman of Wills.

Over the course of her career, she has provided free legal advice for over 18 years to the expatriate Indians within U.A.E and serves as the Senior Most Panel Lawyer, Pravasi Bharatiya Sahaya Kendra (PBSK) under the aegis is of Ministry of External Affairs, Embassy of India, and Consulate of India. Her track record of successfully fighting major cases made Indian Government to select her firm for fighting the “death penalty case of seventeen Indians accused of murdering a Pakistani National”. The Sharjah Court set free all the 17 accused and received a big proclaim in international media.

She continues to advocate for people in need and have invested in several future projects aimed to improve society and help women with their future endeavors. She stands as a pillar in our society and will continue to support communities worldwide.

3. Mr. RAM MAHESHWARY, 01 July 2021 to 30 June 2023

Mr. Ram Maheshwary retired from the Times Group as Director of Services after 18 years with the Group in various leadership positions. Prior to that, he spent 10 years with Larsen and Toubro in International Marketing. Since retiring from Times Group, he has been in the field of academia leading S P Jain Institute of Management as Director and then as Director, Marketing in Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies. Presently, he serves as the Corporate Advisor to Hiranandani Institute of Learning. Mr. Maheshwary is a gold medalist from Delhi University in Bachelor of Engineering (BE) and an MBA from the prestigious Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad.

Since his retirement, Mr. Maheshwary has been active leading the Womens Movement for peace and prosperity founded by Ms. Indu Jain, previous Chairperson of Times Group leading its multiple initiative across India as the founding Management Trustee. He is also, on part time basis, volunteering as the Chief Executive Officer of Project Vrindavan Dham.

4. Dr. HISHAM AHAMMAD, Trustee, 01 July 2021 to 30 June 2023

Dr Hisham Ahamed completed his medical degree from J.S.S Medical College, Mysore and was awarded the Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences Gold Medal for the highest aggregate marks in pathology during his training. He subsequently went on to pursue a career in internal medicine at Sri Ramachandra University, Chennai which is one of the largest tertiary care referral centers in South India. He successfully completed his internal medicine residency program at Chennai in 2008 and received the Gold Medal for the best outgoing resident in internal medicine. Having decided to focus on cardiovascular medicine, he joined the Amrita Institute of Medical Sciences and Research, which had one of the most prestigious cardiovascular training programs in the country. During his cardiology training, he also received the Gold Medal for the best academic performance amongst cardiology residents. Dr Hisham went on to complete an interventional cardiology fellowship at Amrita and has been a permanent faculty at the institute since 2012. He has also obtained a fellowship in advanced cardiovascular imaging (cardiovascular MRI) from Lisbon and is actively involved in managing the advanced cardiovascular imaging protocols at Amrita.

Hypertrophic cardiomyopathy and other inherited cardiomyopathies are a key area of research for Dr Hisham. In 2013, under the mentorship of Dr Barry J Maron from Tufts HCM Center in Boston, he was able to establish the first and largest center of excellence in India, with respect to hypertrophic cardiomyopathy (HCM) at the Amrita Institute of Medical Sciences and Research, Kochi. It has now become the preferred destination for HCM patients all across India for their comprehensive evaluation and management needs. The Amrita HCM center is complimented by a state-of-the-art cardiovascular genomics division which is led by Dr Hisham. He was also instrumental in establishing the first cardio-oncology division in India at the Amrita Institute, which offers a holistic approach and state of the art evaluation protocols which identifies the cardiovascular risk factors of cancer patients. This was established under the umbrella of the International Cardio-Oncology Society (ICOS).

Dr Hisham currently serves as the director of the Amrita HCM center, the co-director of the Amrita Cardio-Oncology Clinic and the clinical lead of cardiovascular genomics in his capacity as associate professor of cardiology and internal medicine at the Amrita Institute of Medical Sciences and Research, Kochi.

5. TONY THOMAS, Trustee, 01 July 2021 to 30 June 2023

Tony Thomas (Dr. Anthony A Thomas) is the Chief Digital and Information Officer for Signify, the Philips lighting company. Prior to this Tony was a Senior Advisor with Boston Consulting Group. He was the former group CIO of Nissan Motor Corporation, the Global CIO of GE, and the CIO of Vodafone India. Tony also held global leadership roles at Citibank, EY among other industry leaders and has worked and lived in many regions across the globe. Tony is a luminary in his field of Technology Leadership, Digital Transformation, and Innovative Industrialization. An Engineering alumnus of CET, Trivandrum, Tony has been conferred Doctor of Science in Information Technology from Hindustan Institute of Technology and Science and recipient of many industry honors and awards.

Tony is active as a public speaker, startup investor, board member, advisor and mentor to businesses and Governments. He is a mentor at Columbia University, New York in its Executive M.S. Technology Management Program.

He is currently the Chairman of ICT Academy of Kerala and part of many distinguished forums including Hi-Power Digital Advisory Committee to Kerala CM, Hi-Power Committee for eMobilty in Kerala and Management Committee of Kerala Police Cyberdome.

Tony completed his O’Level and A’Level in University of London and his Engineering from College of Engineering, Trivandrum. Having worked and lived mostly abroad, with his primary home in USA, Tony is now in Trivandrum, manages his global role from here, with base office in Amsterdam.

6. SANJAY VIJAYKUMAR, Trustee, 01 July 2021 to 30 June 2023

Sanjay Vijaykumar is a GLA Young Achiever who was a backbencher and did not miss out anything at Loyola! Sanjay worked hard to achieve his goals in academics and co-curricular activities. No wonder he became an entrepreneur while in college.

Starting an entrepreneurial journey at the age of 22 while in 3rd year of engineering, Sanjay lead and created a team of engineering graduates who were passionate about technology to build up MobME Wireless, one of India’s most exciting and innovative mobile internet companies. MobME quickly raised angel funding from investors based out of India, Middle East, and Silicon Valley.

He was also Chairman of the Board for Startup Village, India’s first Technology Incubator in PPP mode promoted jointly by MobME along with Dept. of Science and Technology, Govt. of India. Government of India nominated Sanjay to the board of Indo-US Science and Technology Forum established by Govt. of India and United states to strengthen bilateral relationships in technology.

Sanjay is also a Rajeev Motwani Fellow instituted in the memory of late Stanford Professor Rajeev Motwani, mentor to Google Founders, Larry Page and Sergey Brin, A Scholar of Aspen Institute, Colorado, he was selected by World Economic Forum as a Global Shaper for making significant contribution to the community. Asia Society also selected Sanjay amongst the Asia’s 21 young leaders under 40.

A graduate of Industrial Engineering from College of Engineering, Trivandrum, Sanjay is a passionate basketball player, Sanjay has led the college team to various tournaments and played state level Basketball in Kerala before being bit by the entrepreneur bug.

7. PRAHLAD KAKKAR, Trustee, 01 July 2021 to 30 June 2023

Prahlad Kakkar (born 24 March 1950 in Mumbai) is a leading Indian ad film director, best known for his work on the famous Pepsi TV commercial with Amitabh Bachchan and Sachin Tendulkar. He is the founder and main director for Genesis Film Productions, one of India's leading production houses, established in 1977He is renowned for his candid and outspoken nature. An avid scuba diver, in 1995 he set up 'Lacadives', a scuba-diving school, along with his wife Mitali Kakar at Kadmat Island, in collaboration with the Govt. of Lakshadweep. He also runs a coffee shop, and Casa Amore, a wine bar and restaurant, set up in Mumbai in 2001.

He did his initial schooling from St. Joseph's Academy, Dehradun. In 1966, he passed out from Sainik School, Kunjpura, Karnal, Haryana and 1970, he graduated with Economics (Honors) from Fergusson College, Pune.

Prahlad Kakar joined advertising in 1971, as an Accounts Executive at ASP (Delhi) and after a year, he was transferred to the company's Bombay office. In 1972, he joined the renowned feature director, Shyam Benegal, as an Asst. Director for films such as Ankur, Manthan, and Bhumika.

After training under Shyam Benegal, Mandeep Kakkar and Ravi Uppor, Prahlad Kakar founded Genesis Film Productions in 1977. Today, Genesis Film Productions is considered to be one of the most highly regarded advertisement films making agencies in India.

Genesis Film Productions is also known for the short film "Bali" made in affiliation with the channel Star One. Prahlad Kakar is also known for his popular Kamasutra ads. After Genesis, Prahlad Kakkar started a restaurant at Prithvi Theatre with Jennifer Kendal.

Prahlad Kakar is the co-founder of ReefWatch Marine Conservation, set up in 1994, which aims at creating marine-life awareness. Prahlad Kakar supports and plays an important role as the Chief Advisor & Trustee of Natura Outdoor Education Trust.

In 1999, he was one of the few Indian Directors to direct international commercials for clients like Uni Levers and Pepsico in Burma, Vietnam, Pakistan, Bangladesh, and the Asia Pacific Region. He also started the specialty Tea House in Bombay, the first of its kind in the country. In 2000 he received the prestigious Lifetime Achievement Award from IAAFA for his contribution to Advertising and Film Art.
